In the spirit of the season and things that go bump in the night, pay attention to what happens when you turn out those lights. As you are just about to drift off to sleep, are you haunted by things that happened during the day? Do dark thoughts of the past threaten to pull you under the bed? Does sleep come easy, but then you fall into dizzying, anxiety dreams provoked by what needs to be done? Perhaps none of these things happen and you drift off peacefully, feeling the magic of the cool, moonlight drift in through the window? I hope that’s the case. You need that rest to restore your psyche and spirit. If you do find your inner demons interfering with your slumber, perhaps this is just your body’s way of exorcising them, so you can recover freely and recharge your power for the next day. Let go of it all - imagine you have a forcefield of light encircling you with protection and filling you with the rehabilitating energy you require for the new day that will dawn. Or, you can just hide under the covers…nothing can get to you there - right?!?
