Love is strange, isn’t it? When you first feel the spark for another, the light of the connection be so blinding it obscures what is truly there. Then, as the relationship advances, the darkness invites out all of the tiny oddities about each other that you just hadn’t noticed in the rush of your beating hearts. Is this a bad thing? I suppose sometimes it exposes behaviors that just cannot be tolerated, for some. But, if your commitment thrives in the dark, then all of the weirdness becomes endearing and you can’t imagine your life without the quirks. If you are partnered, think now on those eccentricities and be grateful for the many ways in which they warm your heart. If you are single, think now about the eccentricities you hope to share with another and note that you will understand the truth and strength of their love by how they perceive them. Love is weird and dark, but would you want it any other way?
