Page of Pentacles - Ten of Cups…

What lessons did you learn as a child that can be reflected in how you chose to live today? Does your current environment have fulfilling hints of wonder that your child self would love? Maybe it should. Take a look at your personal dwelling - the space you inhabit at home, at the office, in your car and beyond. Where do you see the glimmers of child-self? If you don’t have this kind of connection to your space, how might you enhance the dream of your former self to be mirrored in your surroundings? Did you have a favorite color, a beloved animal or flower? Is there a scent that instantly transports you back to a more innocent time? Find a candle that reminds you of this. Did you love to play outdoors, but now you are in a cityscape? Perhaps a few strategically placed plants will fill your space with joy and encourage growth. Was there some tiny phrase of wisdom or inspiration you recall hearing from a loved one or family member as a tot? Write it out - frame and post it where you can encounter the sentiment everyday!Little reminders of simpler times can go a long, long way. Fill your days with awe by filling your space with gentle reminders of your truest essence.

“The face has limited space. My mother used to say ‘if you fill your face with laughing there will be no more room for crying.’” - Rohinton Mistry
