The Emperor…

A powerful card made two appearances this morning. First pulled reversed and then I shuffled and opted to pull again, and there he was staring at me upright. Funny, how the deck laughs at you sometimes. Perhaps the power dynamic within our relationships needs a little attention today? Who we are and how we approach friends, coworkers, family and loved ones on the surface can be quite different than what is operating underneath it all. It’s time to realign our intentions with our actions when it comes to how we present to and deal with others. Is there someone in your life who you feel like you must control? Why? Get to the root of it. Is there someone you resent and feel manipulated by? A closer look might reveal a different story than the one you have developed in your head. And, how might you adopt new strategies to rise above? It may be important to deal with all of this now, before it has time to fester and explode.
