The Knight of Wands…
Fire plays a very big role in the spirit of the holiday season. We light candles to remind us of the importance of hope, peace, joy and to commemorate miracles. The warmth of a fire in winter signifies safety and protection and can fill a room with love and we continue to honor the age old tradition of burning a yule log. But this tradition is historically a bit more involved than simply warming a room and relaxing by the fire. I found this quote on line, “Celts believed that as the sun seemingly stood still during the twelve days at the end of December, keeping the Yule log aflame would persuade the sun to move again, lengthening the days and heralding the return of spring.” Let the flames of this season spur your own fire within and inspire you to move forward. Feel the burning desire to take action arise and motivate you on a noble journey this winter. Light up a path that you have always dreamed you might venture.
