“A dream is a wish your heart makes…” “When you wish upon a star…” Let’s talk about wishes. Wish fulfillment is exciting, but our culture has definitely over romanticized this notion through songs, stories, films and more. Since we childhood we’ve been taught to wish upon a shooting star, wish upon a dandelion, and make a wish before you blow out your birthday candles and more and more… There is some magic here, but it’s all so fleeting and immediate. It can be fun and exhilarating to dream about the things in life we want most. But, as you grow older, you understand that wish fulfillment requires work and wishes don’t always manifest in the manner you envision. Sometimes a wish can come true and leave you feeling like there is still something missing. If you have brought to fruition a dream that you want and still need more, perhaps this is your guide map to true happiness? Examine the thing that is missing and the next time you put your magical wish out into the universe, be even more specific.
