The Two of Cups (Reversed) into the King of Pentacles…

This morning I had a test - like a literal test and I was….nervous! But, I was also quite amused by my own nervousness - I mean, after all, what part of life ISN’T a test?!? I was trying to keep it all in perspective, but I decided to ask the cards for a bit of guidance. As I shuffled 2 cards flew out of the deck. I looked at them and thought, “Welp, this is NOT going to go the way I think it should, but seems to ultimately work out?” It was clear - I was going to be thrown a curveball. What might normally feel like a united effort and offer a sense of calm, would be disrupted. But when…how?!? The thoughts in my mind were swirling and anxiety tried to overtake me. As the test was in progress - the curveball came fast and furious. What I thought would be a perfect partnering felt disrupted by external forces and I found myself in unknown territory, wondering what to do. But, instead of freaking out and acting in a rash, reactive manner, I maintained my sense of calm and control and allowed for those disturbances to exist without letting them overwhelm me. It became very clear in the moment how these two cards were manifesting and I laughed on the inside. If you feel interference or you are thrown a curveball, don’t let it rattle you, my friends. Ground yourself, focus, take your best crack at it and trust that the universe has got your back. Despite life’s curveballs, I passed the test and you will, too - whatever test you are experiencing. Keep your eye on the ball and your feet on the ground.

“You can’t control the curve balls life throws at you, so you have to learn how to control yourself and change quickly to make sure the curve ball doesn’t knock you out.” - Mark Edwards
