Three of Cups - Reversed…

The Holiday season is a time when we find joy in gathering with friends and loved ones and our calendars are full of parties and events. And this season is the first time we’ve had the opportunity to do this in a year or so, which is extra thrilling. But, be mindful of the certain stress and anxiety this may cause, not only for you but for others. People can feel extra sensitive in this moment of reunion and the emotional reckoning of the last couple of years can feel like an uncontrollable spill of the heart and spirit. If your friends and loved ones seem a bit heightened, don’t take it personally, but rather be sensitive to the way they are experiencing the world around them. If you find yourself feeling vulnerable and strange, recognize and respond to it. You are allowed a little self-care and self-protection, even in the busiest time of year. And, if you simply cannot face another party or bar meet-up, then stay home and curl up with a blanket and good book. Do what you can for yourself and for others to help ease the emotional overwhelm. Be kind and allow for a little messiness within your connections during this season - it’s inevitable and your response can shape the manner in which your relationships advance.

“Be mindful - of others, of your surroundings, of your intentions, of the footprint each step creates.” - The Quiet Rabbit
