Hey friends - today is the perfect day to simmer down and CHILL OUT! Sometimes your moral code can overtake the passionate side of your intentions. If this happens, you may find yourself becoming a bit too rigid about how you move through life. Anxiety can increase when you adhere to such an unbending doctrine. It is, of course, always good to have a sense of where you stand, but flexibility in thinking is necessary for balance. I know it’s cliche to say it, but take a moment to see beyond the “black and white”. There is more gray area than you ever thought. The definition of “gray area” that pops up online when you google it reads, “an ill-defined situation or field not readily conforming to a category or to an existing set of rules.” Sometimes “not readily conforming” is necessary and also incredibly exciting. Certain rules were meant to be broken. Swim around in your “gray area” today. Make space for what is there in the murky, “ill-defined” waters of who you are. Relax and drift off into the gray…
