Four of Chalices - Ace of Coins (Reversed)…

You find yourself feeling on the outside this Tuesday and longing for emotional fulfillment. BUT, you may be looking in the wrong direction to find that fairytale existence. What you need isn’t material at all. In fact, if a financial or material opportunity presents itself today, you can bet it won’t be the answer, so don’t become too fixated on it. It’s easy to believe the grass in greener and to take the obvious opportunity for change, but true joy lies beyond what is directly in front of you. Listen to your introspective voice to understand more deeply what fulfillment means to you and you will see that you might have to travel a bit further to find it.

The Hanged Man…

Whatever has you suspended in mid air today, wondering what next step to take, is worth taking some time with. Don’t rush into action on this one - a decision on how to best approach it. There are more moving pieces than you might think, so if you reverse your perspective and see this situation from all angles, you will have a much greater understanding of what is at stake for you and all who are involved. Rest in this moment of re-evaluation. Give the full spectrum of the stakes time to be revealed. You will know when the right moment is to drop and engage.

Ace of Cups - Reversed…

As the golden leaves of autumn shower down around you, this week it may be time to release repressed emotions. The emotional prison you have placed yourself in can no longer hold you, my friend. Self love and healing will only come if you release yourself by letting go of the burdens you have placed on your heart. It sounds scary, but you must bring a voice to those feelings and let the words fall out of your mouth. You can do this gently and with great wisdom, like those tall trees that drop their bright foliage. Or, you can let those sentiments flutter out like wild butterflies released from the cocoon. I think you will be surprise with how you and your feelings are perceived. Self love calls to you - release that which needs to be free.

Eight of Pentacles…

Gather what you need to be successful in the winter months ahead. Your hard work and dedication will pay off this upcoming year, but you must be prepared with everything you think you might need to accomplish your goals in hand. For the remainder of this weekend, see if you can generate a list of what you require, so that you might begin to gather each detail. Collect only what will be useful to you. And consider that each procurement should bring with it the gentle magic that assures continued growth. Your commitment to this endeavor will determine the overall advancement you can hope to achieve in the the months to come.

Knight of Wands…

You deserve a weekend that feels like a cotton candy cartoon joyride, so take action to manifest it! Fly into the night tonight with joy and creativity leading you. How can you incorporate even more colors and dynamics into your plans? What might you do or be a part of that will help connect you to fiery motivation, but light and gleeful execution? Surprise yourself with new, fresh ideas that you enact without a strategy or a plan. That’s right, be downright spontaneous in your approach. Let the inner rebel emerge with a sense of freedom. Treat every place you find yourself like your personal playground. Prance through or even past obligations to get to the fun part. Let optimism be your best friend as you prance from one fun experience to the next. Can’t wait to hear about your wild and liberating adventures! Happy Fri-yay!

The Ace of Cups…

Aces can present us with incredible opportunities and the Ace of Cups is a magical moment for emotional sharing and connection to manifest. We can draw this energy toward us, but we must share of ourselves to really invite the kind of healing and fulfilling magic this Ace has to offer. Today, don’t hide your feelings away - share them, even it’s a bit outside of your comfort zone. The love in your heart is a work of art - it is meant to be displayed. Let the feelings over-flow, welcome vulnerability and the jewel of your heart with glow in its full majesty. The one you love or the one you hope to attract will take notice of your divine gifts. Give them the chance to splash around in the most caring and illustrious part of you.

Three Cards for November…

Let’s start the month right! I’ve decided to begin each new month going forward with a three card draw to give us a little perspective on how to proceed. November is upon us and here’s what we should forget, remember and invite this month…

FORGET - 5 of Cups - Let’s let go of the previous month’s disappointments and those who created emotional turmoil in our lives. We may try to hold onto the darkness we felt, but it will not benefit our month ahead. What can you do to put this sadness to rest?

REMEMBER: There was a creative spark last month that you lost sight of and it’s time to bring this back. Focus on those passionate ideas you didn’t have time to explore in October and do it in a joyful way.

INVITE: A little bit of risk taking with your finances. You strive for balance sometimes to your detriment. Use your cash flow to step outside of your comfort zone and you may be rewarded down the line - there’s a big world out there to be explored, but you need to loosen your purse-strings to do it.

HAPPY NOVEMBER! Look for this spread at the start of each new month…

Day 31 - Tarot Challenge…

We’ve reached the final moment of our October Halloween challenge and it’s very revealing. If you have been following along, I hope this journey has brought at lease a glimmer the magic you were longing for during this spooky season. What does the culmination of our adventure unveil? It seems the real work has just begun, because we have spun a web of protection around ourselves in which we will transform over time. We will remain wrapped in the spirit of our sorcery for at least 8 more months! You shouldn’t feel trapped though, you should embrace all the thoughts that come to you while you stay in this magical cocoon and let them gestate. This state of transfiguration, won’t be stagnant, but quite active. Hold all of your secret inner working very close as you continue to advance through day to day life - it will be exciting to generate your own mysterious intrigue. This is an initiation of sorts - go inward and let the miscellaneous thoughts fly about and fly away. Soon a new version of self will be revealed. HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

Day 30 - Tarot Challenge…

Oh! I am feeling this draw very deeply on mischief night. The power that comes with greater knowledge is strong and whispers all of the answers we need for ravishing success. Let us dig our teeth into the challenge of our past month to extract all the lessons we have learned along the way and we will feel the quiet readiness we have invited into our homes. Talking charge with cool ease and knowing and setting boundaries are now at the forefront of how we progress. Tonight, under the delicious grey moon, let us relish our own sense of eternal potential. Our intellect is sharper now and you we are ready to conquer. As I sharpen my focus on the Halloween Tarot Experiences I will be leading tonight for Uncommon Goods, I will be especially reinvigorated by my own, newfound sense of potency. And I will allow the risks I have been taking along this journey to bleed out in a darkly beautiful way as I continue on my path. What will you do with this newfound sense of vitality?

Day 29 - Tarot Challenge…

Tonight, do not take action based on your thoughts. Instead, let the Halloween season spur you to internal inspiration and feel the passion for the unknown that stirs within. Let that spark of creativity simmer underneath the surface of this spooky night and see how fresh and sorcerous ideas begin to materialize for you. Make a list of all this new information which is seeping through the thinning veil and be willing to accept that these thoughts from beyond also live within. Rank these ideas in importance, my witches and warlocks and then sit down and strategize a plan of execution for each one of them. This topsy-turvy brainstorming session is sure to provide you with magic you can make for months to come. Post that list in a spot which allows you to gaze upon its wizardry each and everyday. You’ll know in your mind when the timing is right to take action with each fiery thought…

Day 28 - Tarot Challenge…

There is a sacrifice that must be made under this Halloween Moon, if we wish to fully embrace our own power. We must be willing to let go of the dark thoughts surrounding our hearts. It’s sounds fairly simple, doesn’t it? We all long to be free of worry, dread, fear and hurt, so it should be easy. However, it’s likely that we’ve come to rely upon these things as a crutch of sorts, to hold us up when life gets challenging. Tonight, though, say goodbye. Let’s let the bats of darkness swoop in and steal away with our most painful demons. It’s time to clear the mind and open the heart to the idea that we no longer need to rely upon self-defeatist actions that are fueled by false negativity. Rebel by wearing your heart on your sleeve with full optimism and trust that the energy of the moon will support you. You are power enough.

Samhain and Halloween are coming on fast, so we must take swift action to prepare for whatever we have planned. Whether it’s a costume, party, parade, gathering or a spell to cast, the time is now to decide exactly how we would like to celebrate, so we can implement our strategy with quick ideas. Use your intellect to bring these ideas to life for this spooky weekend ahead and the wickedly wonderful evening of Halloween. Sharpen the senses and charge into your ghoulish plans with magic and determination at the forefront of your journey and the ghosts of your ancestors following closely behind.

Day 26 - Tarot Challenge…

Pull back the veil and embrace the most colorful and lush part of your ancestry! Explore the idea that your unique qualities are not meant to be hidden away, but rather embraced and displayed with pride. Consider yourself just one bright and full pumpkin or gourd on a long vine that winds its way through time and space. All the power and juiciness of the lives lived before you has infused you with mysterious but royal power. Sit on a throne of confidence and authority by exhibiting all which makes you special. Don’t hold back - even the most unexplored aspects of your personality are there for a reason - they were passed down through the ages and gifted just to you. Use the eccentricity you have inherited from your family lineage to reign supreme. And then - consider what elements of yourself you might bequeath to those who are forthcoming.

Day 25 - Tarot Challenge…

The veil is thinning more and more each day, my friends, so expect the unexpected as you move toward Halloween! I love the question of the day in this challenge, because I often find myself asking for the help of my ancestors and the sign received is quite magical. They are whispering to you to trust - trust the magic of your inner wisdom. Recently there was a scientific study which provided evidence that learned behavior can be inherited through multiple generations. So, you see, it’s likely we are imprinted with the experiences of those who came before us - those whose blood still dwells in our veins. Whether or not this sounds good to you, it is undeniable that you have carefully written in your DNA ancestral messages. Listen to your instincts - they were not given to you by accident. They are a gift from the ghosts who came before you and they hold incredible information meant to be deciphered and acted upon. If you truly want to taste the juicy seeds of your life, you must trust in and pursue your innate talents.

Day 24 - Tarot Challenge…

Where will we begin to understand what our magic has manifested? Under the dark night sky far away from the circus of life. The funhouse of existence is sometimes not so fun, so make a little time to relax in seclusion bathed in the light of the moon. Chase away the scary clowns that haunt you, find solitude and embrace the chill of the dark October night. There you will connect to the easy calm of quiet introspection and out of that darkness a voice will come - an internal whisper that will give you the answers you seek. Listen intently, for you will feel a great sense of relief in what has been revealed to you through the magic of your own internal peace. You don’t always need sunshine to see what is truly there. Sometimes the darkness is more revealing.

Day 23 - Tarot Challenge…

The longing for days of the past can fill the heart with a dose of vitality. A pinch of nostalgia for who you once were can help you full realize who you would like to be today in this dark web of October. Embrace the idea that the former you still dwells deep within and invite them into the the present moment to encourage juicer living. What might they say to you about who you are today? What lessons has that former version of self learned about “give and take” that you may need a healthy reminder of in the here and now? Don’t discount your past as guide map for infusing life with vibrancy. The spirit of who you once were can help you put your finger on the pulse of your deepest, darkest desires.

Day 22 - Tarot Challenge…

The spooky season is full of frightfully delightful thrills, but can be quite confusing. Decisions must be made on how to proceed in the winter months ahead, but maybe we don’t have to focus on such decisions today. What to channel in the here and now? A healthy disregard for important choices on the table. Life is so impermanent and there is no better season to remind us that sometimes we turn the smallest of issues into the biggest horrors in our mind - and what is it all for?!? The haunting reality is that if we need more space and time, our most terrifying obligations can always wait. Today tonight and for the whole week ahead, conjure more time and space for yourself by forgetting about all the decisions hanging over you. Ease into the cold, dark chill of mid-October with a commitment to a free mind and let your spirit linger in the abyss. Let your mind release the spirits that linger there.

Day 21 - Tarot Challenge…

The Chariot returns in our challenge - emerging from the fog to force us into immediate action. This ghostly messenger wants us to use what we have at our disposal to make the most of our path forward, through the darkness toward greater clarity. Drive, confidence and execution are what we have acquired along the way, but resourcefulness is what we truly need in order to grow on this journey. So, through the murky night we advance with the natural light of our personal drive leading the way. What is one action you can take this night to move closer toward your goal for the month? Healing is on my agenda and I have already done extensive research to gain more information about my current condition. All of the necessary appointments have been made, but right now I will be reaching out to find more of the emotional support I will need on my journey. What will you do? Time to race toward action, my friends….

Day 20 - Tarot Challenge…

Practice makes perfect and it’s time to put all of our manifesting energy into practice. In this magical phase of our October Tarot Challenge, what should we know without a doubt? Just like the seeds of a pumpkin, the power to grow and manifest has always lived within us. Our magic is supported by the universe and protected by Mother Nature herself, so get outside and soak in the beauty of the natural world around you. We are one with the world around us - outside forces provide us with the nurturing love we need, but we hold within us the juicy seeds of magic that will grow with wild abandon under the hazy October moon. But, also, do not discount the support of your fellow pumpkins growing from the vine, because shared energy is quite nourishing. Embrace the promise of what you can grow into, feel the magnification of communal spiritedness and then trust that the Empress will deliver.

Day 19 - Tarot Challenge…

Rising to the top as we spin our wheel is the opportunity to set strong roots which will help us find greater foundation and security. Connect to those that provide the promise of proliferation and the loyalty you know you deserve. Hold on to what you have that is reliable and get ready for expansion in all directions. Let your roots grown down into the depths of the dirt below you to ground you with strength and let your branches and leaves reach for the sky and dance in the wind. Falling to the bottom is the emotional regret and guilt we feel about relationships left behind. If you had to slither away it was for good reason, so why hold onto the shame and disappointment of what was never meant to be. Release what weighs you down and makes you feel empty and strange. Hold on to what is tangible and let it and yourself grow toward possibility so you might anchor yourself in stability .
