Card of the Day
The Knight of Cups…
We are on the cusp of the holiday season, so why not get swept away in magic and romanticism?!? Let your mind wander into a territory that feels forbidden and welcome all foolishly amorous notions. Overflowing emotions should be on your agenda as you set forth into this season. See if you can dream so freely that your heart just gushes with love. All fantasies are allowed as you quest in the direction of something or someone that will awaken your passions. If you need inspiration take sometime tonight to find a picturesque spot (even if it’s just in a book or a movie) - a place to set the stage for your own vision of what is possible in love. Monday night is an excellent night to hatch your plan for a fairy-tale existence.

The Emperor - Reversed…
Jump into the idea that you do not have to play by the rules this week. In fact, take the time you need to invite more light-heartedness and old fashioned fun into your life. Let go of strong and stern opinions on how things must be done. If you have obligations, approach them in a very different way than you think you have to. Creativity and left-of-center thinking will work to your benefit, so long as you are cheerful in your line of action. This might feel slightly rebellious, but I think you will find that you like this new found freedom. If you still feel like you must be in charge, rule your mini kingdom with an unconventionally joyful spirit. Be spontaneous and carefree in every moment and welcome the idea of leading with the heart, instead of rules and regulations .

The King of Pentacles…
This weekend your well thought out and methodically implemented plan will pay off. Abundance was always yours for the taking, but you needed to open a pathway for it to reach you. You have been diligently working toward that goal, both internally and externally and you are going to be rewarded for all of that effort this weekend. Allow yourself to indulge in the luxurious results this endeavor provides for you. You have taken the lead and therefore, you deserve the riches that pour upon you! Whether it’s money, a ravishing new personal vibe or a lush and vibrant experience, soak it all up with great reverence for your own success. If you feel moved to, share your secret with others, so they understand their own power to attract bountiful wealth of spirit. If you don’t feel moved to, that’s ok too - you are in charge of how you will celebrate this windfall.

The High Priestess…
I woke up this morning feeling crunchy and a little bit affronted by the world around me, but when I pulled this card it was a powerful invitation to a chance for a very different experience. The High Priestess welcomes you back into enlightenment and deeper understanding. Pass through her magic threshold and step into the secrets that you already know. She lifts your spirit by reminding you of who you truly are. You will see that everything you perceive outside of this realm is external and deceptive. What truly matters is what lives within the sacred space of self. Close your eyes to connect with your intuition. Close your eyes and let the chaos melt away. Close your eyes and embrace your true gifts. Close your eyes to see.

Nine of Wands - Reversed & The Hanged Man…
As you trudge through all of life’s challenges it’s easy to look over at that person who seems to have it all together and feel so jealous. This feeling can build in a way that overwhelms your thinking in a negative way - Why can’t I? Why shouldn’t I? Why didn’t I? How come? Instead of comparing yourself to that person and allowing yourself to spiral in questions and negativity, stop for a moment and really study them. They may not have always had it all together. In fact, they may not have it all together right now. They may have more status and appear to be floating through life effortlessly, but perhaps they are just forcing themselves into a different view of what is and isn’t available to them. Maybe they are opening themselves up to possibility and not guarding themselves from advancement, despite the cards they have been dealt. Let your understanding of who they really are in this moment shift and I think you could stand to learn a great deal. Heck, approach them, take them out to lunch and ask them how they do it!!! In this moment, you can let competition develop in your mind, or you can find inspiration in the journey of another. You choose….

Three of Pentacles - Reversed…
Collaboration is wonderful, but it’s “Do it yourself” Monday! I mean, you have what you need and you know how to get it done fast, so why waste time including others in this endeavor? Your way will be more efficient and you know how to do it best. Also, the clock is ticking and precious time will sneak away as you try to let everyone else know how to best undertake this process. Pretty straight forward. Don’t let your team distract you. Get to work.

The Ten of Wands - Reversed…
You have been gathering up so much responsibility! This can make you look very beautiful and prolific to others, but it is absolutely weighing you down. It’s time to sift through all that you are carrying and make some clear decisions about what you are ready to let go of. Think of this week as an episode of “Hoarders” - each time you are confronted with another heap of garbage, assess it with keen focus. You will know what should be discarded, what you must keep and what goes in the “maybe” pile. At the end of the week - confront that “maybe” pile. I think you will find there isn’t much there that you truly need or want. Set those nagging responsibilities and obligations loose. Chuck what isn’t fulfilling or enhancing your journey. You will then be able to better dedicate yourself to the people and situations that are. Lighten up, dear hearts - you deserve to feel free.

The Ace of Coins/Pentacles - Reversed..
Oh, fall! This season does have a way of highlighting a sense of loss, nostalgia for things you once had and a tricky kind of internal sadness that will creep in. This Ace (reversed) has appeared for us twice this week and it is pointing to a feeling we may have that there is nothing really tangible to grab onto in this moment. A reducing level of sunlight is starting to wear on the psyche. The squirrels are furiously gathering their acorns to hide themselves away for winter, but what have we to collect before the great freeze confines us? Perhaps you live in a warmer climate, but still face another month gone by and you had hoped to have more to show from it? Well, you are not alone in this, so hold onto the idea that many are experiencing the same feelings. And, please know that you remain protected and loved. Just like those squirrels, get ready to nest in and enjoy the riches that a the new year ahead has to offer and know that better days are coming…

Four of Cups - Reversed…
If the gloom of disappointment has struck this evening, it’s ok to indulge it for the moment. Sometimes you just just have to accept that life isn’t going as you had hoped. Perhaps there’s a missed opportunity that has you down or maybe you just aren’t feeling good, health-wise? Introspection and awareness of your emotional experience can be good, but you don’t want to retreat here for a long amount of time. Let yourself sit in the discomfort of these feelings for tonight, but recognize that tomorrow is a new day and you have the power to change your mood. Splash around in it for now and throw yourself a big old pity party, but understand that this, too, shall pass and soon you must get on with living and greet the new day with a new attitude.

Four of Chalices - Ace of Coins (Reversed)…
You find yourself feeling on the outside this Tuesday and longing for emotional fulfillment. BUT, you may be looking in the wrong direction to find that fairytale existence. What you need isn’t material at all. In fact, if a financial or material opportunity presents itself today, you can bet it won’t be the answer, so don’t become too fixated on it. It’s easy to believe the grass in greener and to take the obvious opportunity for change, but true joy lies beyond what is directly in front of you. Listen to your introspective voice to understand more deeply what fulfillment means to you and you will see that you might have to travel a bit further to find it.

The Hanged Man…
Whatever has you suspended in mid air today, wondering what next step to take, is worth taking some time with. Don’t rush into action on this one - a decision on how to best approach it. There are more moving pieces than you might think, so if you reverse your perspective and see this situation from all angles, you will have a much greater understanding of what is at stake for you and all who are involved. Rest in this moment of re-evaluation. Give the full spectrum of the stakes time to be revealed. You will know when the right moment is to drop and engage.

Ace of Cups - Reversed…
As the golden leaves of autumn shower down around you, this week it may be time to release repressed emotions. The emotional prison you have placed yourself in can no longer hold you, my friend. Self love and healing will only come if you release yourself by letting go of the burdens you have placed on your heart. It sounds scary, but you must bring a voice to those feelings and let the words fall out of your mouth. You can do this gently and with great wisdom, like those tall trees that drop their bright foliage. Or, you can let those sentiments flutter out like wild butterflies released from the cocoon. I think you will be surprise with how you and your feelings are perceived. Self love calls to you - release that which needs to be free.

Eight of Pentacles…
Gather what you need to be successful in the winter months ahead. Your hard work and dedication will pay off this upcoming year, but you must be prepared with everything you think you might need to accomplish your goals in hand. For the remainder of this weekend, see if you can generate a list of what you require, so that you might begin to gather each detail. Collect only what will be useful to you. And consider that each procurement should bring with it the gentle magic that assures continued growth. Your commitment to this endeavor will determine the overall advancement you can hope to achieve in the the months to come.

Knight of Wands…
You deserve a weekend that feels like a cotton candy cartoon joyride, so take action to manifest it! Fly into the night tonight with joy and creativity leading you. How can you incorporate even more colors and dynamics into your plans? What might you do or be a part of that will help connect you to fiery motivation, but light and gleeful execution? Surprise yourself with new, fresh ideas that you enact without a strategy or a plan. That’s right, be downright spontaneous in your approach. Let the inner rebel emerge with a sense of freedom. Treat every place you find yourself like your personal playground. Prance through or even past obligations to get to the fun part. Let optimism be your best friend as you prance from one fun experience to the next. Can’t wait to hear about your wild and liberating adventures! Happy Fri-yay!

The Ace of Cups…
Aces can present us with incredible opportunities and the Ace of Cups is a magical moment for emotional sharing and connection to manifest. We can draw this energy toward us, but we must share of ourselves to really invite the kind of healing and fulfilling magic this Ace has to offer. Today, don’t hide your feelings away - share them, even it’s a bit outside of your comfort zone. The love in your heart is a work of art - it is meant to be displayed. Let the feelings over-flow, welcome vulnerability and the jewel of your heart with glow in its full majesty. The one you love or the one you hope to attract will take notice of your divine gifts. Give them the chance to splash around in the most caring and illustrious part of you.

Three Cards for November…
Let’s start the month right! I’ve decided to begin each new month going forward with a three card draw to give us a little perspective on how to proceed. November is upon us and here’s what we should forget, remember and invite this month…
FORGET - 5 of Cups - Let’s let go of the previous month’s disappointments and those who created emotional turmoil in our lives. We may try to hold onto the darkness we felt, but it will not benefit our month ahead. What can you do to put this sadness to rest?
REMEMBER: There was a creative spark last month that you lost sight of and it’s time to bring this back. Focus on those passionate ideas you didn’t have time to explore in October and do it in a joyful way.
INVITE: A little bit of risk taking with your finances. You strive for balance sometimes to your detriment. Use your cash flow to step outside of your comfort zone and you may be rewarded down the line - there’s a big world out there to be explored, but you need to loosen your purse-strings to do it.
HAPPY NOVEMBER! Look for this spread at the start of each new month…

Day 31 - Tarot Challenge…
We’ve reached the final moment of our October Halloween challenge and it’s very revealing. If you have been following along, I hope this journey has brought at lease a glimmer the magic you were longing for during this spooky season. What does the culmination of our adventure unveil? It seems the real work has just begun, because we have spun a web of protection around ourselves in which we will transform over time. We will remain wrapped in the spirit of our sorcery for at least 8 more months! You shouldn’t feel trapped though, you should embrace all the thoughts that come to you while you stay in this magical cocoon and let them gestate. This state of transfiguration, won’t be stagnant, but quite active. Hold all of your secret inner working very close as you continue to advance through day to day life - it will be exciting to generate your own mysterious intrigue. This is an initiation of sorts - go inward and let the miscellaneous thoughts fly about and fly away. Soon a new version of self will be revealed. HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

Day 30 - Tarot Challenge…
Oh! I am feeling this draw very deeply on mischief night. The power that comes with greater knowledge is strong and whispers all of the answers we need for ravishing success. Let us dig our teeth into the challenge of our past month to extract all the lessons we have learned along the way and we will feel the quiet readiness we have invited into our homes. Talking charge with cool ease and knowing and setting boundaries are now at the forefront of how we progress. Tonight, under the delicious grey moon, let us relish our own sense of eternal potential. Our intellect is sharper now and you we are ready to conquer. As I sharpen my focus on the Halloween Tarot Experiences I will be leading tonight for Uncommon Goods, I will be especially reinvigorated by my own, newfound sense of potency. And I will allow the risks I have been taking along this journey to bleed out in a darkly beautiful way as I continue on my path. What will you do with this newfound sense of vitality?

Day 29 - Tarot Challenge…
Tonight, do not take action based on your thoughts. Instead, let the Halloween season spur you to internal inspiration and feel the passion for the unknown that stirs within. Let that spark of creativity simmer underneath the surface of this spooky night and see how fresh and sorcerous ideas begin to materialize for you. Make a list of all this new information which is seeping through the thinning veil and be willing to accept that these thoughts from beyond also live within. Rank these ideas in importance, my witches and warlocks and then sit down and strategize a plan of execution for each one of them. This topsy-turvy brainstorming session is sure to provide you with magic you can make for months to come. Post that list in a spot which allows you to gaze upon its wizardry each and everyday. You’ll know in your mind when the timing is right to take action with each fiery thought…

Day 28 - Tarot Challenge…
There is a sacrifice that must be made under this Halloween Moon, if we wish to fully embrace our own power. We must be willing to let go of the dark thoughts surrounding our hearts. It’s sounds fairly simple, doesn’t it? We all long to be free of worry, dread, fear and hurt, so it should be easy. However, it’s likely that we’ve come to rely upon these things as a crutch of sorts, to hold us up when life gets challenging. Tonight, though, say goodbye. Let’s let the bats of darkness swoop in and steal away with our most painful demons. It’s time to clear the mind and open the heart to the idea that we no longer need to rely upon self-defeatist actions that are fueled by false negativity. Rebel by wearing your heart on your sleeve with full optimism and trust that the energy of the moon will support you. You are power enough.
